Advertisement Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 Hi pico, Take a look here What to modify to bring up 50mm frame?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
doubice Posted October 12, 2011 Share #2 Posted October 12, 2011 The left (looking at the screen) bayonet lug is the one that activates the frame lines. It appears that the mount on your lens activates the 28/90mm frames - does it? If that is the case, the lug has to be filed down a bit. I have done this by trial and error in the past, filing off a bit by bit, until the propper frame was brought up by the lens. The frame activating lug has different lengths and that is how the frame lines are activated. Default position (thus the shortest lug) is 24/35/135mm, middle is 50/75mm and the longest is 28/90mm. pop Posted October 12, 2011 Share #3 Posted October 12, 2011 This modification is frequently applied to the 40mm Summicron that used to come with the CL. I recall having seen instructions for this particular lens in the forum several times.
