maccarma Posted October 9, 2011 Share #1 Posted October 9, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) I recently bought a superb M7 Test Camera "Netherlands Edition" (with the Dutch flag on it. In a shop in Nice (France) I saw a lens coupled with it also with dutch flag. Unfortunately the lens was not for sale but the shop-owner told ma that along with the camera they produced a very limited amount of lenses. Does anybody know about it (what lenses, how many produced, any picture)? I also placed an ad on the buy/sell section because very interested. maccarma Posted October 14, 2011 Author Share #3 Posted October 14, 2011 Hi JC, thanks for the tip! Actually I saw the listing and had a couple of proposals from other people. The price (to my opinion) still remains quite high! Plus I already own a APO Summicron 90, and this one (even if quite a valuable collector item) would be no more than a diminished double for me. I thought I could find those "flagged" lenses for cheaper, but to some evidence the research made the prices levitate....
jc_braconi Posted October 14, 2011 Share #4 Posted October 14, 2011 May be you can sell your plain one to get this flagged. Say Hi for me to Stephane when you will see him.

pico Posted October 15, 2011 Share #8 Posted October 15, 2011 Why was it called a 'test' version?
maccarma Posted October 15, 2011 Author Share #9 Posted October 15, 2011 I believe those were cameras intended to be given to Leica shops to test them before actually they were going to sell on the actual market.
