sokolovs Posted October 8, 2011 Share #1 Posted October 8, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) I recently went through a very extensive camera calibration using xrite. The result of which was not very different from the Adobe Standard profile. The colours were still quite unrealistic but I found the following HSL corrections in Lightroom produced the most realistic colour rendition I have obtained so far. I would be interested how this pans out for other users because, of course, if it is way off, it means there is a major calibration problem with my M9. Hue: red 0, orange -15, yellow -29, green 0, aqua -100, blue o, purple +17, magenta 0 Sat: reo 0, orange 0, yellow -12, green -33, aqua -20, blue -40, purple 0, magenta 0 Lum: all

archi4 Posted October 8, 2011 Share #2 Posted October 8, 2011 Did you use the ColorChecker passport system? And of course if possible a comparison with the results using another program such as Capture One or Raw Developer from irridient.
dr. rOb Posted October 8, 2011 Share #3 Posted October 8, 2011 Maybe it is obvious, but are you checking the colors on a calibrated monitor? dr. rOb
Marty Posted October 8, 2011 Share #4 Posted October 8, 2011 The Adobe standard profile is known to be pretty good for the M9. So if the colours are way off I would agree with dr. rOb to check your monitor calibration.
sokolovs Posted October 8, 2011 Author Share #5 Posted October 8, 2011 My monitor is calibrated using Spyder 3 and I used x-rite colourchecker to generate an M9 colour profile. Still the blues, greens and yellows were off. With the colour settings for lightroom (see above), colours now match. The result is that the images in lightroom now look like the renderings I previously got from capture1.
