Hannes Lummes Posted November 9, 2013 Share #22 Posted November 9, 2013 This is sligtlhy of topic. I have a nice Elmarit M-90, fairly late unit, but it still suffered from quite bad fogging. I sent it to Solms, and they promtly informed that it can be cleaned but *some residue will remain*. And so it did. Probably not enough to affect pictures, but this is something to check when buying. I was quite surpriced to learn that such a recent lens can suffer from nonrepairable degree of foggin. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
algrove Posted November 10, 2013 Share #23 Posted November 10, 2013 Sometimes if the lens has been stored in its leather case and in a slightly damp environment, it will have fogging more than others left out in the open air.
