Truggs Posted September 27, 2011 Share #1 Posted September 27, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi All First time Leica owner - my new X1 arrived yesterday and I love it's simplicity already. Just one question to begin with and my apologies if it is an often asked one - when I play back images in camera the bright areas show as vivid red digital flare. When I view on my laptop everything looks normal. The SD card is a new SanDisc Extreme 8GB class 10 and was formatted to the camera. Any experience or info on this ? Thanks Truggs

Gerard Posted September 27, 2011 Share #2 Posted September 27, 2011 You have your 'exposure clipping' warning on. This evaluation tool helps quickly identify if critical areas of your image are over exposed. You can turn this off; view manual for more info.
