Adam Marelli Posted September 21, 2011 Share #1  Posted September 21, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Just recently I had a chance to stop by Luigi Crescenzi's place in Rome and had a fantastic time. In the past I had order a few items from him, but I had an idea for an unusual case for my M9 and figured it would be best to explain it to him in person. We worked out the design for a reversed leather case with a few special details. It will take about 60 days to produce, which is cool by me. Once I have it in hand I will post pictures for people to see. It won't be to everyone's taste, but I like that Luigi will entertain eccentric preference.  He was very accommodating and while I was flipping thorough leather swatches his wife Patrizia entertained my girlfriend and two friends. It was a real treat.  He showed me some of the cases which were in production. The guy does not lie, he has a serious backlog of work and six leather artisans working for him. He also had a new "mid ranged case" which will be released soon. It was surprising to hear his reactions to other case companies. For the most part he does not harbor any ill will, though he does note which details are copied from his cases and how some of them are done improperly.  While I have seen a mixed reactions to his cases, I find the quality and attention to detail on par with other "custom" outfits in clothing, shoes, or accessories.  I wrote an article on my blog, if you would like to read the full story.  Enjoy-Adam  ADAM MARELLI PHOTO
