StephenPatterson Posted September 19, 2011 Share #21 Â Posted September 19, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) I 100% agree that it's a crock that if you want individual compartments in the F-803 you need to purchase the Domke insert. Â The quality of the Domke F-803 is excellent, with all metal fittings, robust stitching, and a non-slip material sewn into the shoulder strap. The waxed canvas is also durable and doesn't look like a camera bag. Â I have recently began using the Wotancraft Scout, which is supplied with a fantastic divider system that gives lots of flexibility, but it's a slightly bigger bag. I consider the F-803 to be a one day bag, whereas the Wotancraft is more of a small system bag.

patashnik Posted September 23, 2011 Share #22 Â Posted September 23, 2011 Timbuk2 Snoop Camera Bag: The nice thing about their site is that they have an indicator that tells you whether or not your laptop will fit. Though they recommend the S and M size bags for the iPad, the dimensions of the XS look like their enough. Â I have the Snoop in size Small, and it is a terrific bag. More than large enough for a Leica outfit, it fits a 15" Macbook Pro as well. If you need something smaller, the XS will fit an iPad nicely. Â The padding is very nice, and if you don't need it, it can be removed - and you're left with an extremely thought out messenger bag. There are plenty of bags out there that wants to be a messenger bag, but they're not - they're purses that you carry on your hip: Awkward and pretty much uncomfortable to wear for more than five minutes. With the Timbuk2 Snoop, all the flaps are properly made to make sure that the rain doesn't penetrate, you can wear it strapped tightly to the back without discomfort and for the price it is a bargain.
