wparsonsgisnet Posted February 27, 2007 Share #62 Â Posted February 27, 2007 ... My theory as to why there aren't a lot of women on this forum is that around here at least, the ratio of women photographers to men photographers is very small, and that probably transfers to this forum and other photographic forums. The customers at the camera shops around here are usually men, or men with their wives. Â I note when I am in the photo store that there are more women then men, but that the women buy cameras that are less expensive than Leica's, or other pro cameras. Â Of course, most pros are using C---n's in the store I frequent. As I have posted, I expect that to change over the next 2 years and for M8's to become required equipment. Â I can say that the bride notices the quality of the images from the M8. She noticed the difference in images between the 35 'lux pre-asph and the asph version faster than greased lightning. She also appreciates the output and the chimp-enabled functionality. But, she prefers making dances to taking pix. Â I guess I should be happy that the bride doesn't have many items of this cost in her wish list. How could I refuse (don't let her read this)/
