Hello all

After considering which bag to protect and carry my X1 i finally settled on the Billingham Hadley Digital

First impressions are excellent

Very well made.

Big enough for X1 with handgrip and external viewfinder fitted

Velcro inserts that can be moved around to form 'pockets' for spare battery etc

Slim outer front pocket for thinner bits (spare memory etc

Light, comfy, waterproof and padded alround

I am currently using a Billingham Photo Eventer with my X1. I am a big fan of their quality, durability and looks.

My bag is too big for just the camera. Way too big - I used to use it with a Nikon D3 and 70-200 (not attached).

But, it is a good size for any camera, plus a iPad2, iPhone, full-size headphones and much more.

So, for a sleek, perfect fit bag, you have the best option. For those who need to pack a camera and a whole lot more, the larger Billinghams are a nice option too.

Enjoy!

I have the Billingham Stowaways Pola, its a perfect fit for the X1 with viewfinder and grip, plus a few other small zip etc compartments for all one's other stuff......This is my second Pola, the first one I carried daily for 15years before I retired it! Price has doubled in the mean time.

Look at my blog, I wrote and showed pics of the Pola bag...

I have been using a Billingham Stowaway Compact with my X1 kit and it has been great. My only complaint is that it looks like a man-purse:) This small bag also works well with my M gear. Highly recommended!

All

Sorry for the llooong time this has taken but i have rarely used the bag to be honest

In the meantime i use the camera with the handgrip affixed and the ever ready case with external viewer in the little pouch and did this all over Mexico recently

I dont doubt, though, that now the wetter weather is upon us i will be using the Billingham bag that this was started for

Once i do then i will comment accordingly
