bideford Posted September 28, 2013 Share #41 Posted September 28, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have an M8.2 compact charger that has just decided to die on me. Going to replace with the Delkin product as suggested. Just wanted to thank the poster that pointed out the car charger might work - and it does (but unfortunately it does not bring the mains charge back to life). At least it leaves me less desperate until the replacement arrives! James

James In that case you surely could get a mains transformer to 12V DC and plug it into the car charger input socket of the Leica charger. At the very least you end up with a back-up charger. Paul J Posted September 30, 2013 Share #43 Posted September 30, 2013 I have three of these Delkin Universal Chargers to charge all my 6 batteries in one hit. You just need the Leica plates to go with it, one charger does two at a time. Highly recommended and very cheap!

I am happy to send it off to anyone who wants it and is okay with paying the shipping. Send me a PM.
