M6 TTL Flash compatibility

I managed to do some further research and the SCA 3501 adaptor does allow for TTL flash with this Metz model on a M6TTL, but I understand early examples of the adaptor may not work properly with some other Metz flashes.

My only issue now is that the flash is bigger than the camera body!

I had a 54 MZ-3 for my Hasselblad and thought about getting and adapter for my M6 TTL but the flash was the same size as the camera! I ended up with an SF 24 which works great and won't make the camera fall over (much) when it's attached. I did ad a Leicagoodies flash defuser and a Nikon SC-28 sync cord to allow TTL functions when the flash is off the camera and have been pleased with the results.

The Metz list is certainly a useful resource. I note it doesn't refer to the 3501 at all, so am assuming that the 3502 must have been it's replacement at some point.

I went back and checked the M6TTL manual (doh! don't know why I didn't start there!), which confirms that a 3501 will allow TTL flash.
