sandymc Posted August 26, 2011 Share #1 Posted August 26, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm looking for a few beta testers for V3 of PhotoRaw. PhotoRaw is a raw developer for the iPhone and iPad. Among the image formats supported are, of course, DNGs from M8s, M9s, X1s and S2s. While most of PhotoRaw is now well proven, the new version has an entirely rewritten core image processing pipeline to support new color controls, highlight and shadow recovery, etc. So I'd like to do a brief beta of the new version before it goes out - probably only a week or so. If you're interested, here's what you need: An iPad or iPhone, and a way to get raw files onto the device (camera connection kit, or something like Dropbox, or even email). Note that PhotoRaw only works with raw files, not JPEGs A few hours to spend over the next week putting the beta through its paces In order to participate you need to install an app called TestFlight (http://www.testflightapp.com) on you iPhone or iPad, and register your device with TestFlight. The TestFlight app will then manage downloading the beta for you once it becomes available (probably early next week). The registration is required because on the iPhone/iPad, beta test apps must have the hardware ids of every individual device that they will run on coded into the app. You will not be able to run the beta on any device unless it is registered. To sign up, and begin the registration process, go to this webpage: http://bit.ly/nKMthh Thanks, Sandy
