Whitford Posted August 12, 2011 Share #1 Â Posted August 12, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Does anyone know if there is a way to have this feature always on? Â I've noticed that whenever I power up the camera, the LCD flickers to life even though I have the camera in the Ext. Viewfinder > On mode. For it to actually take effect, I have to go into the menu and select the setting again for it to work. Â I'm a bit annoyed that I spent the money I did on a viewfinder yet always have to tell the camera that the viewfinder is attached. Â Thank you. Don't forget that with the VF fitted and the menu set to recognize that fact, you can quickly nudge the LCD into life when needed. Just press the INFO button. I find that very useful when moving into a close shot.
