Jamie Roberts Posted February 10, 2007 Share #1 Posted February 10, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) OK, something different for me, anyway. Thanks for having a look! I was literally running around with my dog and my M8, slowing the shutter and seeing if I could get, well, this sense of motion as I could with film. Certainly cost less than film, and owes something, but I'm sure I'm not sure what, exactly, to Duchamp. But I like it still M8 JPEG, Summilux 50 @ f4 1/15s @ 1250 ISO JPEG "re-grained" in PS

Jamie Roberts Posted February 11, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted February 11, 2007 Thanks Robert! Yes, I tried to emphasize the play of the yellow / orange dog (she's part retriever) and the blue / cold snow. The JPEG noise in this case helps I think (it was just after sundown; and the shot was quite underexposed). I usually shoot RAW, but that day was shooting RAW+JPEG and worked the JPEG file instead. There's one more I like where she grabbed her leash (in my hand); it's got the same kinetic energy (though both could have been a wee bit sharper still).
