I’m happy for anyone joining the X1 owners clan, yes it is a great piece of photographic equipment - AND - we are paying Leica a premium price.

The images should be Superb, Outstanding and or any other superlative you wish to use.

Imagine buying a Ferrari and only having the performance of say a Fiesta””

I cannot imagine a new Ferrari owner saying (on the Ferrari Forum) how fast his car is..Of course it is! It’s a Ferrari.

The operator is the key to the talents within the equipment..

Like David... I couldn't see a point in the OP. Lots of misc views, but no point. Maybe reword it?

The overall point is:- RE:- X1, people are saying Amazing images, Blown Away”

it is a Premium piece of equipment, if used correctly it should give the Results””” :)

I agree with wanting to express excitement, joy, whatever, but the OP didn't exactly say "how he felt" but more of a factual statement regarding the quality (?) of the camera? ... I don't know. Can't seem to extract meaning from it...

And also, the irony is almost sinfully delicious:

I cannot imagine a new Ferrari owner saying (on the Ferrari Forum) how fast his car is..Of course it is! It’s a Ferrari.

.... Right. But you (a "new" Leica owner) just said (on a Leica Forum) how great (re: fast) your camera is.

"Of course it is! It's a [Leica]."

I'm amazed at how much it "feels" like a film camera. It doesn't feel like I am just aiming at something and pressing the button. It puts me in a whole different mindset. One of actually photographing a subject.

And the lens? Holy cow, it's sharp. I always thought a lens needed to be bigger to be this good.
