This is my first Leica I normally use a Nikon D700 but this camera is so much fun to use, is it slow, somewhat I don`t care the photos are excellent that`s what matters to me.My Nikon may be staying home more often. businessasusual Posted July 21, 2011 Share #2 Â Posted July 21, 2011 Congrats and enjoy! Had mine for 2 weeks and love it (gave up Canon 7D) - you're right, not fast but it makes up for lack of speed. Love how portable it is - I never leave home without mine. Guest badbob Posted July 22, 2011 Share #5 Â Posted July 22, 2011 For me, the X1 is one of those rare items that always sits close by, even if I don't use it for awhile. It's also that rare item that I never consider swapping out, because I know I won't find anything else quite like it.
djsteb Posted August 5, 2011 Share #6 Â Posted August 5, 2011 I've had my X1 for about five weeks and am getting very attached to it now I am more comfortable with the somewhat slow focus. Have to admit I also bought a Fuji X100 at the same time and that also is getting a lot of use.My M8.2 is getting left home more and more but maybe that's just the novelty of the other two cameras.
