miss_emma_jade Posted July 19, 2011 Share #1 Posted July 19, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) hi guys. ive discovered the grubscrew that holds my winding knob in place is missing. has any one have any idea what thread it might be? i doubt its had one for a while, from the condition of the thread. I have this all back together and working with the shutter working beautifully, and maybe the speeds in proportion to each other. alignment? no idea at all yet, and exact speeds? the B speed is spot on anyway!! but its usable, untill i get hold of some equipment to align and test it. but no grub screw. anyone know? has anyone replaced one? Advertisement Posted July 19, 2011 Posted July 19, 2011 Hi miss_emma_jade, Take a look here grub screw 15-10.29-18 (leica 11f winding knob). I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jc_braconi Posted July 19, 2011 Share #2 Posted July 19, 2011 Are you sure you are not confused by the hole through you must pass the screwdriver blade to reach the screw ?
miss_emma_jade Posted July 19, 2011 Author Share #3 Posted July 19, 2011 No, I unscrewed it and I can see the screw is missing. After working out the film selector has to be in exactly the right place to reach the screw etc etc, I discovered it was missing and just tensioned the shutter and the knob unscrewed. Then I could see the screw was missing. Emma
