Hi Karl- Albert,

 

this butterfly is brown/white/black...it´s also not so coloring...:(

but for me was the balance and graphic important...he was on a boardwalk and i had many luck, that he so accurate on it :)

 

 

 

 

this butterly is likely to have nice colours ? doesn't it ?

Ingrid is a photo specialist in black white and pictures are beautiful :)

Perhaps an exception this time for Karl, is not Ingrid ? :D

Hello

 

this is a real nice photo. I have not problems with b/w photos. The contrast and sharpness is excellent as always in Ingrid' s photos. This one especially shows different competing structures.

 

My only intention was that butterflies often have brilliant colours, these may well contrast against the wood. If this is not the case, then the b/w version is perfect.

you are right, butterfly´s have often fanciful and brillant colours...but this one is not contrasty against the wood...
