taskoni Posted July 17, 2011 Share #1 Â Posted July 17, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) I got my X1 used from a friend and I felt back then that the shutter release button is somewhat wobbly. Yesterday while shooting my newborn son in the hospital the button and a small spring popped out and seems broken I kind of putted back in place skipping the spring and the camera does work, focus etc. but I am afraid not to loose it. Anybody have/ had same experience? Any idea is it a hard fix? We don't have Leica shop and repair here in Vilnius, that's why I am curious. Â P.S. In the worst case I was thinking to fit on of my R7's mini softies - It might look cool Regards, b.

pomyhra Posted July 17, 2011 Share #2 Â Posted July 17, 2011 I had the same problem with my X1. It had to be sent in for repair, I was informed that the whole top plate on the camera had to be taken off. In my case it was done under the guaranty.
