msr Posted February 9, 2007 Share #2 Â Posted February 9, 2007 I am a big fan of contemporary architecture, particularly the work of the British architect John Pawson. Â I take it that this is a Liverpool skyline. I feel compelled to say that those third rate white modernist structures are a blight and totally unharmonious with the church and the other brown stone/brick structures. Â I was in Bath this summer and saw the contemporary addition that formed the new Bath Spa. Superb! Through the use of appropriate materials it was an harmonious addition to a historical city. Liverpool planners need to exercise more aesthetic control. End of rant.

TonyW Posted February 9, 2007 Author Share #4 Â Posted February 9, 2007 My intention was to see how to translate some shots of my surroundings to the web. I think what's going on in Liverpool is dramatic but a wasted oportunity we can't stop it, or, influence it so I take it as it comes.
