Advertisement Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 Hi k_g_wolf ✝, Take a look here Modifying a 3-Cam to ROM. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
rsolomon Posted February 15, 2007 Share #22 Posted February 15, 2007 yes , as the other have said - you are good for ROM, i had my lenses done a few years back now assuming one day it would be valuable and the price to get it done would only go up. So there are the DMR, flash, zoom flash head benefits todate - hopefully more to follow
bono0272 Posted February 16, 2007 Author Share #23 Posted February 16, 2007 Thanks a lot Karl and Richard. So I am going to have my SA 21mm F/4 sent to Solms as well. That's not cheap anyway.
k_g_wolf ✝ Posted February 16, 2007 Share #24 Posted February 16, 2007 The SA 21 mm for LEICA R is a pretty good lens even compared with a more modern lensdesign like the ELMARIT 19 mm, esp. version 1. Enjoy the thing when it is back, it will easily be good for another 15 yrs. app. once it has been through the LEICA-servicedept. Compared with the other wides it is a very compact design, ideal for travel- purposes, IMO. Best
bono0272 Posted February 17, 2007 Author Share #25 Posted February 17, 2007 Agree. I always bring the SA 21mm with me when I go travelling. It is very compact and produce very good pictures. Hope the ROM contacts can make it working even better with the DMR.
