mardag Posted July 4, 2011 Share #1 Posted July 4, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi all, I´m interested in the artisan and artist ACAM-3000 bag. I would appreciate a lot if someone that is using it could post some close up pictures of the bag so I can get some idea of the fabric. Most pictures I´ve found so far are really low resolution. wda Posted July 4, 2011 Share #2 Posted July 4, 2011 Markus, I doubt a picture would tell you much, such is the nature of its black soft supple nature. It has been my favourite bag for everyday use for over a year. Although it is not waterproof, like some bags, it can be made water-repellent. In any event, for my photography water-proofing is not essential. What I do like is the way it combines superb protection for your main kit, with its body-hugging inconspicuous appearance. Access is easy and the internal layout flexible. However you need to get the partitioning right for your kit, because repositioning insert sections is a resistive process. In a way, that is one of its strengths. For Leica lenses, I use the central compartment, uniting two lenses with a back-to-back converter. Although no longer made by Leica, you can find them second-hand.
