flavio Posted February 12, 2007 Share #41 Posted February 12, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Wilfredo, thanks for your advise. I agree: good shooters are a fine inspiration and, I have to say, I really enjoy watch your website as well as others by forum friends. Unfortunately I am experienced a break down in my M4 shutter machine (still can't believe it), so I have to take up my R4s, lately in the dust. I take care about M8 remarks in the digital forum, but I am not sure to go digital yet. In the same time, I am aware, using Aperture - yes, it does not support Leica so far - how fine a digital workflow may be... Let's see. Thanks again Flavio
Advertisement Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 Hi flavio, Take a look here Leica reading - please recommend a book or two. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
ian748s Posted February 14, 2007 Author Share #42 Posted February 14, 2007 E-bay is a great source for new and used lenses just carefully read the description, ask questions, and carefully check the feedback on the seller. I've made quite a few Leica purchases there including three Leica lenses and a Konica Hexanon M lens, all minty. Cheers, Wilfredo+ You're not wrong there! I just picked up a mint 50mm Elmar (Silver) which I should have on Friday so I'm up and running with the M6 from the end of this week. I was looking for a 35mm cron or lux but at this price the Elmar was a bargain. Also a Tri-Elmar just went for under £700!
