Anyway, I opened the box, took the lens out and just starred at it...for something like 5 minutes. I own several really nice Zeiss lenses, but there is just something about this Summicron. It's like a work of art. OK, I know I sound like I've had too much of the red dot kool aid, but this lens is as much a work of art as a photographic tool.
