Advertisement Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Hi k-hawinkler, Take a look here Cottonwood in the Spring (2 images). I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
pauledell Posted June 16, 2011 Share #2 Â Posted June 16, 2011 K-H, Â A lovely pair. Of course, I favor No.1 for the composition, colors, lighting and sharpness. At first, I objected to the bright highlights but they seem to make the picture live. Â Paul
allamande Posted June 17, 2011 Share #3 Â Posted June 17, 2011 Cottonwood is such a grand and graceful tree. Your first image gives a good flavor of its characteristics. Â Ece
k-hawinkler Posted June 19, 2011 Author Share #4 Â Posted June 19, 2011 Paul, Ece, Â Thanks for your feedback. The leaves are actually silvery shiny and turn into those magnificent yellow colors in the fall. The first image shows the characteristic trunk and branches. The second image shows these dense curtains of leaves, also typical. Â Best, K-H.
