bpalme Posted June 16, 2011 Share #1 Posted June 16, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Anyone notice if it's getting better or worse lately? About 2 months now on a 50 lux list. (Cooters in Dallas) I don't mind too much waiting just don't want to wait 6 months and they say... now who are you? Also my dealer doesn't really know me. I walked in to get on the list. Then called a few weeks later to make sure I was in line. Starting to wonder if I should get on more than one list since some folks here have stories of getting it faster here and there. Advertisement Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Hi bpalme, Take a look here Lens availability.. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
tobey bilek Posted June 16, 2011 Share #2 Posted June 16, 2011 More than one list. That is exactly why they they called. Everyone is trying that trick. What would happen if he ordered on for each on his list. He would be stuck with a bunch of expensive lenses. It is called a deposit. Airlines over sell because they count on a a certain number of no shows mostly from those who double or triple booked. If they all show, someone gets left at the gate. It is called bumping. The cure should be pay for the ticket. Then the airplane leaves and they simply do not care if you are on it or not. Then people will whine they got a flat on the way to the airport or uncle Jim was late picking them up.

k_g_wolf ✝ Posted June 16, 2011 Share #4 Posted June 16, 2011 Should you be in need of a new LEICA 21mm- lens, let them put you on a new list. There is a 21 mm/ 3.4 coming soon and in case you want it badly, be an early lister/ listener. Best GEORG

mmradman Posted June 17, 2011 Share #6 Posted June 17, 2011 It all depends how hard you want it and how far are you prepared to go to get it. Choose your dealer and get on with it. Placed an order and paid deposit on 28 May 2011, dealer phoned me today - three weeks later that Lux 50mm is in store and ready for collection. From the S/N 413**** and other posts here I gather production line must be working overtime.
