Hello, those of you living in Europe. Are you experiencing any shortage of new Leica M lenses? Seriously looking for a new APO f2 90 Summicron.

There is one in the buy/sell section... do you specifically need a new one ?

My dealer in Cremona (Italy) is selling a used APO f2 Cron 90 (mint condition... only a few months old) for 2000 Euro. I think no matter which Leica M lenses you want, most likely than not, there's always a waiting period.

sounds like a bad joke from former times :

"Nein, wir führen hier keine Zeiss Objektive.

Keine Leitz Objektive gibt es gegenüber"

(PS: in original shirts/trousers)

I heard from Samy's LA that there was a mass resignation of lens makers in the Leica factory in Germany that's why they're having a lot of problems delivering lenses. Back orders of the Leica lenses are too plenty already.
