Advertisement Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 Hi Guest flatfour, Take a look here End of 24hrs. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
elansprint72 Posted February 5, 2007 Share #2 Posted February 5, 2007 Great! Why are the crowd in front of you looking left, the crowd opposite and those to your right front looking the other way? I love this sort of shot. Sometimes the car which wins this race is not moving at the finish! Cheers, Pete. What year, btw?
Guest flatfour Posted February 6, 2007 Share #3 Posted February 6, 2007 pete. - i don't remember why but the Gendarmes were trying to stop people jumping the barriers with absolutely no effect. We were much too far away to photograph the cars so I thought this scene gave a good idea of the finish of a Le Mans 24hrs. i think it was 1994
abrewer Posted February 6, 2007 Share #4 Posted February 6, 2007 Hi Tony. Great shot. I love to get up in the stands near the top and shoot like this. Just a question about the tones: they look different than my own XP2 shots, with a more brownish, Scala-like tint (which is a good thing IMO!). My XP2 shots are always very much black/white and tones in between without this nice hue you have in yours. Thanks for sharing. Allan
Guest flatfour Posted February 6, 2007 Share #5 Posted February 6, 2007 Allan - I was just playing around in Photoshop. Mind you XP2 negatives always have a sort of brownish hue.
