bob24 Posted June 10, 2011 Share #1 Â Posted June 10, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) I was happy to receive my camera today :-) Â There's one thing I find strange about the power switch: it goes from OFF to S and then to C very easily, and then pushing it to timer mode clearly requires much stronger pressure harder. What I don't necessarily like is that when turning it on, it naturally tends to go to C mode as it is where the stop is the stronger (and the stop on S is very light) - I have to be careful to set it to S (which is what I will use most). Â Is this normal? Â Thanks!
Advertisement Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 Hi bob24, Take a look here Just received my X1 - stupid question about on/off switch. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Allnm Posted June 10, 2011 Share #2 Â Posted June 10, 2011 Never really noticed that there was a difference moving through S C and to timer, but now I see there is. The answer is to be a little more careful, you get used to it. More of a problem is the fact that the shutter and aperture dials on the top move easily too. You get used to checking them regularly. Anyway, enjoy your X1. Â Allan
bob24 Posted June 10, 2011 Author Share #3 Â Posted June 10, 2011 Thanks Allan. Yes I'll be fine - just wanted to be sure it is not a defect as I found it strange they would have picked continuous shooting as the most natural position. Â Enjoying it already :-)
