Canon Powershot S45, still in use by SO -- totally obsolete but she loves it. Â Canon 5DMKII, some very good prime lenses. Lowepro fastpack 350, no hassle at airports. Stuff X1+case into Lowepro. Â I placed the X1 in the "don't leave home without" class, same as my Leatherman Wave. I use an old but well-padded Samsonite ex-MiniDV camcorder case for everyday use and a no-name fanny pack for special purposes. The fanny pack is no good and will be got rid of soon; I require more padding and some rain-proofing. Â Hint: do not place chargers in hold luggage when flying Delta Air. Â Even Delta Air will eventually find your lost luggage so your Leatherman will probably be returned to you before your 25 year warranty expires.
