I don't know what you finally did, but I was in a similar situation not long ago. I jumped into the Leica puddle AFTER selling my Canon T2i, so now the X1 is the only camera I have. After two months testing, the jury is still out. I have quite a few postings on the focusing problems, so won't go into that. However, the slowness of focus and blurry images from hand-held have forced me to use a tripod, which I now use exclusively for all camera use with X1. On the other hand, when you get a really good image that's focused the way it should be (or the way you thought it should be), the results are outstanding. I wouldn't call the X1 a point-and-shoot camera like my T2i or Nikon D200 was. Depends on what you need. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
