I set up a little X1 gallery here:

http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/members/15586-albums4943.html

Pics are from Saturday, the day before the race, when 200 former Indy 500 drivers were on hand for a gigantic autograph session in honor of the 100th anniversary

Images are RAW converted in PSCS3 without much in the way of editing other than USM to my personal taste (tack sharp on inanimate objects, a little softer look on people)

Comments always welcome and I will pass them on to people who are interested in knowing what you think about the camera

An interesting set of pictures Allan with good clean colours, given the dull lighting conditions.

#4 is very nearly 'Very Good'. I expect you were cramped for space, but a step backwards or swivel left and you could have included the whole of the young boy's admiring glance towards the car. Just a suggestion.

Nice to see Dan Gurney is still hanging in there. Thanks for posting.

Dan looks great, had a great huge smile on his face nearly all weekend long and even spoke on behalf of the elders at the public Drivers Meeting

A living legend, no question or doubt about it

Little camera is growing on me

Makes images that look like a Leica

I like that

Look how beautifully it renders the carbon fiber in the mirror housing
