firefox Posted February 3, 2007 Share #1 Â Posted February 3, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Has anyone found a source for the Digilux 3 that even remotely resembles a deal, i.e., less that $2499.00? Thanks!

4season Posted February 3, 2007 Share #3 Â Posted February 3, 2007 Your Leica rep can advise as to availability of refurbished or demo units which will generally carry a standard 1 year warranty rather than the 3-year Passport.
milzy Posted February 3, 2007 Share #4 Â Posted February 3, 2007 Take a look at the Panasonic DMC-L1. Almost the same camera for 1650.00 at B&H
audidudi Posted February 3, 2007 Share #5 Â Posted February 3, 2007 IIRC, Tempe Camera in Tempe, AZ had a price of $2452 on the one in their display case the last time I was there (maybe three weeks ago?) ... not much of a discount, but if you want a Digilux 3 instead of a DMC-L1, then discounts are obviously going to be harder to come by, as you've noted. Â And on the off chance you are willing to consider a DMC-L1, Sam's Club had them for $1499 the last time I checked ... not as good as the $1299 deal Costco had before Christmas but about as good as it gets right now. jank Posted February 4, 2007 Share #6 Â Posted February 4, 2007 BestPrice Camera - L1 goes for $1149 now. Chrismas time they had it for $949. I think they push hard for expensive accessories to make up for it. Sams has it for $1399 I think. But the D3 , the lowest I have seen was for $2429. denik Posted February 4, 2007 Share #7 Â Posted February 4, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Purchased the E-330 2 months before Digilux 3 released. Adapter from HK excellent quality. WIth R lenses, ME-1 magnifier helpful for focusing. Recommend the Oly 50/2 Macro lens. Body with 50 macro around $1400. R to 4/3rds adapter about $50 with shipping.
