Advertisement Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 Hi leicanut2, Take a look here really tiny flash. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
giordano Posted May 17, 2011 Share #2 Posted May 17, 2011 I think Wilson (wlaidlaw) posted a photo of a flashgun made for the Minox subminiatures that he'd used with his M. I once posted a shot of a Ricoh SL121A on my M8. It's far the smallest electronic flash I've ever owned, but it's a lot bigger than a quarter (33 x 40 x 56mm excluding the hot foot). There's a picture of one here next to an even smaller unit from Yashica. Both long out of production, more's the pity.

leicanut2 Posted May 22, 2011 Author Share #5 Posted May 22, 2011 http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/leica-m9-forum/107307-perfect-travel-kit.html#post1134843 Took a bit of searching but I did find the same post, the ME2 adapter is close to impossible to find, there looks to be 2 types one has a cord that plugs into the flash and on to the camera, the other fits the hot shoe. Thats is the one I am looking for. I would have a better chance of getting bit by a great white shark in the middle of the desert then finding that one. Guest #12 Posted May 23, 2011 Share #6 Posted May 23, 2011 I would go through all the flashes at B &H, starting at the low price end. If small is all you care about, there are lots more possibilities.
leicanut2 Posted May 24, 2011 Author Share #7 Posted May 24, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) I gave up on that flash got a Leica CF22, still a bit big but a great flash for the money. Got some rechargeable batteries. I'm all set. My thing is I hardly ever use a flash so did not want to spend that much, or lug anything around that was big.
