lykaman Posted May 12, 2011 Share #1 Posted May 12, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Well I’ve had my X1 for a month now, Initially I took delivery the day before I left for europe, having spent the journey learning about the X1, I’m not sure I learnt anything except the controls etc.. using the X1 is really a hands on experience.. At one point I left the WB on the wrong setting..then I screwed up on the set ISO, then EV bracketing went awry..So yes it was a learning curve. Now I’m thrilled with the X1..the images are Wow”” I certainly Delete quite a few, but once again they become part of the learning curve..Yesterday I found a lovely nature reserve near to where I live, ideally I needed my D300 & Big lens..(lots of small creatures etc.) but I was there with just the X1 and I used the it to the best of my ability...Froggy was PP..
