NZDavid Posted May 12, 2011 Share #1 Posted May 12, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) I just turned on my X1 and it comes up with a pink screen, or half black and half pink. The shutter stays locked on 2000 no matter what the setting. I turned it off and on, took the battery out, took the card out, reformatted the card -- same result. The camera is recently back from Solms after a two and half month trip to clean the sensor. I have installed firmware 2.0 and have only used it once since getting it back. The camera has just under a year's warranty left.

NZDavid Posted May 12, 2011 Author Share #5 Posted May 12, 2011 No joy with new SD card. Guess I could reinstall firmware but I'm not optimistic. It was working fine before. Into the dealers tomorrow. Very disappointing.
NZDavid Posted May 15, 2011 Author Share #6 Posted May 15, 2011 Definitely sensor failure after receiving camera back from servicing. Only used it once. It's on its way. Will report back later -- which may be some time.
