jmel777 Posted May 4, 2011 Share #1 Posted May 4, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) New to this forum... could not find the answer in search Just got the D-LUX5, want to set it up for RAW and JPEG. Where is the default setting for all modes? It seems that you can only set up for both while in program modes but not auto. Guess I missed something. Advertisement Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 Hi jmel777, Take a look here D-LUX5 and RAW+JPEG settings. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Clifton D-LUX 5 Posted May 4, 2011 Share #2 Posted May 4, 2011 Auto defaults to jpeg. You can't switch to RAW.

jmel777 Posted May 4, 2011 Author Share #5 Posted May 4, 2011 OK, so closest thing to auto mode when needed might be P mode to get RAW+JPEG? And thanks all for the welcome. Jack
ho_co Posted May 4, 2011 Share #6 Posted May 4, 2011 Yes. Jack, for me, P is the basic mode. Auto just makes too many choices for me. And once I got everything set that I wanted, I saved it all as Custom Preset #1, because there sure are a lot of parameters the camera will let you set.
