leicanut2 Posted May 4, 2011 Share #1 Posted May 4, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Well I ordered one, got it, and just as fast as I got it I sent it back. Why? It was not that I did not like the case it,s the leather strap on the case. I know that as much as I use the camera the strap would not hold up for me. It,s just to thin where the rivet is. Leica get ride of the rivets and maybe use stitching to hold the strap to the case. Again I like the case but not the strap, make it a tad thicker or wider and dump the rivets. I will keep using my op/tech large neoprene case slash bag. What do you think on stitching as opposed to rivets? Jan
Advertisement Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 Hi leicanut2, Take a look here DL-5 Eveready Case. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jamesk8752 Posted May 5, 2011 Share #2 Posted May 5, 2011 You could have taken it to a shoe repair shop and had the strap stitched to the case for a couple of dollars, if the rivets were the only show-stopper. Regards, Jim
