DaveyA Posted April 28, 2011 Share #1 Posted April 28, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello all, I took a few shots in the garden today, just experimenting with my new D5. The first one seems ok, left all on auto just until I manage to familiarise myself with the settings. I thought you might be interested in my attempts and I would be happy for any advice. My first attempt seems to have focused beyond the flower slightly. Not sure why at the moment. This one is better. Anyway I am off to The Lake District tomorrow, there is something on the TV here that I want to escape, can't remember what it is, a wedding or something or other. I will take the camera on my walk and get some practice. Do you reckon I should just shoot on auto for now or try some of the scene setting modes? Thanks Dave
Advertisement Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 Hi DaveyA, Take a look here D-lux 5, first try. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
albert Posted April 29, 2011 Share #2 Posted April 29, 2011 Dave, Conrats on the DL5 and have fun with it. I used to have a DL4 but I dropped it.....take good care of the little gem. I always had mine set on P with a pinpoint focus. Try some Macro.......should be incredible.
