Is this a fair price for an M8?

You have included many good dealers, but also at least one who is not an authorised dealer and who has a poor reputation. Only a couple of the list support the forum. RedDot and Robert White are forum sponsors.

Do a search on the forum for your list and you will soon find which one is the one with the poor reputation. I would never buy from this dealer, even though it meant I had to buy an accessory from Germany, rather than the UK.

Stick with Leica Authorised Dealers and you won't go far wrong.

Caveat emptor...

I recommend RICHARD CAPLAN

Just like to say that I have had dealings with STEPHENS LEICA in Manchester and have always had fair deals with David.

I can't think of another establishment that would let me walk out with a M9 on the promise of returning with a P/X M8 the following day....10 out of 10 I say.:)

Bought a M8u from Red Dot (London) at reasonable price just few days ago. Very happy w/ my purchase. In my personal experience, they're one of the most helpful Leica dealer so far with very fast responses and supports.

Ooh mine comes with a 6 months warranty too.
