philipir Posted April 26, 2011 Share #1 Â Posted April 26, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Just took a few pics today for the first time with firmware 2. Is it my imagination or has the jpeg performance gone down the pan? I left it all as installed, so "Standard" settings. Colour casts, oversharpened, artifacts etc. Â And we are still saddled with having to have jpeg files anyway? I hardly ever use them but I would like to have them "right" out of the camera so to speak, which to me is the reason to have them at all. Â I will have to try with less harsh settings to see if I can get back to what they were - often very good.

Le Samourai Posted April 26, 2011 Share #2 Â Posted April 26, 2011 I'm by no means an expert, but I shot all jpegs yesterday on standard settings, and all seems fine to me, infact they looked superb.
