spylaw4 Posted April 26, 2011 Share #1 Posted April 26, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) This is of interest to UK phtotgraphers. Marc Vallee "debated" this with Chief Constable Andy Trotter on R4 Today programme today. Seems like Sec 44 in disguise. (I couldn't find the previous thread about Stop-and-Search, otherwise I would have tagged this on). Oh and there's a FlashMob of photographers at City Hall 12:30 3rd May - see phnat. Advertisement Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Hi spylaw4, Take a look here Section 47a. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Xmas Posted April 26, 2011 Share #2 Posted April 26, 2011 Hi Brian Thanks There was a sticky but it has dissappeared. They never stop and search, it is a stop and photo identify, when you are carrying a camera, aways carry photo identity, especially if you are a tourist in London. They dont like film cameras, clearly more suspicious. Never look in gbag... They dont ask for mobile #, just in case they want to see where you have been... Never bother about my accent. And I've never been stopped in NorthenIreland or Scotland, although lots of dogs have sniffed me... Noel
