flavio Posted January 31, 2007 Share #1 Â Posted January 31, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello, as previously reported, after some months wondering about digital camera (M8, of course), I am back to analog camera and slides. Moreover I decided to supply my "photo on the field studio" with lightmeters I always loved but I never use such as the Weston Master line. The Internet gave me a strong help and found John de Vries' site (WELCOME AT THE WESTON & EURO MASTER RESOURCE - by JohnDesq) where I found what I was looking for: Weston Master V and the great Ranger n. 9. The overall condition are really nice, well overhauled by John a very friendly man advising for good. In the end he was kind enough to ship me a Weston Master II built in 1955 (just like me) for free. Actually it is not working properly, but it is a very fine way to add friends (about the same age) to my Leica M4, Summicron 50 and Leicameter. Â There are few "things" that I feel as they have a soul (maybe created by serious makers). Leica, Weston Master, Apple Powerbook, '70-'80s BMW twin motorcycles are between them, at least for myself. When I use such instuments I feel happy and proud and even love watch them. Â Next week end will be great, I know :-) Â Flavio
