h00ligan Posted April 6, 2011 Share #21 Â Posted April 6, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Allnm, my Dslr ggs screens fit great too, but the x1...too much overlap. I found it annoying and promptly removed it for the better sized giottos. In the end, it's 10 vs 20 dollars, I'll buy the better ones from now on (ggs on my 5d2 as I had one tht fit here already). Â I didn't get a $5 one but did get the one that didn't fit from eBay, which means it could have been a knockoff I suppose..but it looked like the other three I've bought, just not quite the right size, although I was being picky
Advertisement Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Hi h00ligan, Take a look here Screen protector question. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Allnm Posted April 6, 2011 Share #22 Â Posted April 6, 2011 I think the cheap ones are fakes, like a lot of stuff on ebay from China. It seems a lot of people have bought them and complained about the fit. As I posted earlier, a genuine GGS screen for the Sony A350/A300 fits the X1 perfectly and they are available from Amazon, so if there is anything wrong with them, you get your money back. I've used GGS for all my recent cameras. At the moment I have one on my Nikon D200, I had one on a D300 and a Lumix GF1 and Nikon P7000. They were all perfect fits and from Amazon. They are great value for money, protect the screen and you can see straight through them. Allan
