lykaman Posted April 3, 2011 Share #1 Posted April 3, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Any thoughts? Maybe the DL4 strap will fit? I’m not sure I like the wrist strap idea..

ChiILX1 Posted April 5, 2011 Share #5 Posted April 5, 2011 No problem. It's a nice strap- I would have paid for it if it was separate.
brill64 Posted April 8, 2011 Share #6 Posted April 8, 2011 wrist straps are great for pulling your x1 in and out of your pocket or bag quickly but if you don't like that, luigi's x1 strap is very soft and carefully made. i've not used my x1 strap yet since i found the leather a bit stiff.. ChiILX1 Posted April 8, 2011 Share #7 Posted April 8, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Just to respond to this I have to say that the X1 strap is stiff initially and softens considerably over time (think of a basebally glove). Additionally, what's nice about the X1 neck strap is that it's so narrow that it easily converts to a wrist strap by quickly wrapping it around your hand. So it's both. I love it. lykaman Posted April 8, 2011 Author Share #8 Posted April 8, 2011 I too like the X1 neck strap, I set up in my workshop a shortened broom handle & set it in my vice, I was then able to “tenderize” my strap by pulling it across the broom handle leftNright on the inner side...takes but a few minutes to soften the leather..
