mug6dull Posted April 3, 2011 Share #1 Posted April 3, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Recently I have a chance to mount the non-Leica lens onto S2 using an adaptor. However, I found the focusing indicator spot and arrows are not working in the viewfinder of S2, and the error signal "!" signal is keep flashing. My original thought is that the S2 focusing indicator should be working similar to Nikon, but sounds like S2 is not. I just want to know whether this is normal or not? I've spoke to Leica about the issue and I'm hopeful it will be addressed in the next firmware update. Focus confirmation would be a big help, although I haven't had any issues personally when using non-Leica lenses on the S2. Rest assured though that I've spoken with the S2 product managers about this issue on several different occasions and was told that it will be resolved via firmware.
