eros-luciferchilde Posted April 1, 2011 Share #1 Â Posted April 1, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Ok don't laugh, I know it's only an X1. Not an S2. But I need to know. Can you tether it to Lightroom? Aperture? I've been hunting the net for answers, and I know this seems to be an issue even with an M9 (correct?) Anything else that I can use to snap and view my shots instantly on a MacBookPro? Â Many thanks!
Advertisement Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Hi eros-luciferchilde, Take a look here Lightroom tether for X1?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
anupmc Posted April 1, 2011 Share #2 Â Posted April 1, 2011 When you connect the X1 to a PC or Mac with a USB cable, the camera is disabled from taking any pictures with a dialog box on the LCD that says [uSB Connected] (only the SD card does appear as a drive on your PC/Mac for image import). So no go for X1 tethering. But I guess you might want to try with Eye-Fi and LR's "Watched Folder" capability?
Allnm Posted April 1, 2011 Share #3 Â Posted April 1, 2011 Eye-fi card and Aperture Hot Folder (Download HERE) should get you going. I was able to download JPEG and Raw files from the cheapest EyeFi card. Take a picture and seconds later it downloads to the computer and displays on the screen Allan

JeTexas Posted April 5, 2011 Share #7 Â Posted April 5, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) What about the HDMI out? I'm not sure it would work as a tether, but you could at least run it to an external monitor.
