Clook Posted March 31, 2011 Share #1 Posted March 31, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Is it possible to blank out the edges of a frame using C1 6 pro? An example of what I mean is when shooting studio groups using a white backdrop and the supports/chains etc are captured at the edges of the shot. Normally I would either 'brush' out these areas with a solid white brush in photoshop or clone them out using the clone tool matched with an existing area of backdrop. Is there a way of doing this in Capture One without having to move the file into photoshop? I would like to just use C1 on its own and this is now the only thing that I use photoshop for. Any solution appreciated. Mark

Urukhai Posted March 31, 2011 Share #2 Posted March 31, 2011 I don't think you can do it in C1 6. Local adjustment brush in C1 is very primitive. Clarity is not available in local adjustment so at best you can just make the edge dimmer & less contrast. You can't even blur it.
Clook Posted April 1, 2011 Author Share #3 Posted April 1, 2011 Thanks. Just what I thought. I was hoping there would be some sort of work-around.
