tdtaylor Posted March 17, 2011 Share #21 Posted March 17, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) FWIW, leasing arrangements often have annual limits of 15,000, although lesser amounts are common as well. Actually, it is possible to develop leases based on any milage, length and the vehicle. I have leases that are for 100k a year, others that are for as little as 8k, some are for two years, others 5 years, some pick up trucks, others sedans. In other words, truly, YMMV. My comment still holds: the typical US annual mileage limit is 12-15,000, with 15,000 being the most common, according to various leasing sites I checked. Variability is another factor; one I don't doubt. FWIW I buy, not lease. Jeff
andybarton Posted March 18, 2011 Share #23 Posted March 18, 2011 The lease my cars. The maximum mileage that BMW Finance will lease is 120,000 miles over three years - just about enough for me. But, that's only for their diesel engined cars, not petrol. My current car is a VW Golf. VW Finance won't do a "Contract Hire" lease for that kind of mileage, so we have worked up a different finance package with them.
