prk60091 Posted March 22, 2011 Share #61  Posted March 22, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) i've been pondering this thread and have come to these conclusions a) we all need "to get a life" because we are all too bored in the hands of a good photographer any of these cameras can make superlative images (they may not all be able to be blown up to billboard size and still look good) but for web forum viewing- it is very hard to see the difference.... c) which means pixel peeping on line is a waste of time - which brings me back to (a) above  Paul
Advertisement Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 Hi prk60091, Take a look here Peter Lueck and the concept X1. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
lykaman Posted March 22, 2011 Share #62  Posted March 22, 2011 Hi, yes I do agree with you. I initially ordered the X100 then decided on the X1, after reflection & before canceling both I decided to go out shooting with my DL4, D300 & D3000.. Hey you know what? I’m happy as punch with what I have..I may indulge in a new lens for the D300 but thats all. So for the moment it’s sorry to both Leica & Fuji... http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb198/lenatfoto/L1010067.jpg http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb198/lenatfoto/YOSEMITE%20LAKE/file-3.jpg
phancj Posted March 26, 2011 Author Share #63 Â Posted March 26, 2011 After getting the 35mm f/1.4 G and the 85mm f/1.4g on my D300 I am still leaning towards the images from the X1.
robert blu Posted March 26, 2011 Share #64 Â Posted March 26, 2011 I think that the main point is to be happy with the cameras we have and learn so much as possible to use it. Different people, different needs, different tastes...different cameras! robert PS I'm happy with my x1!
Guest badbob Posted March 26, 2011 Share #65 Â Posted March 26, 2011 The X1 is so different from other cameras that it offers a good contrast to them in many ways. Whether your other camera is the first camera (DSLR?) or the second camera (DL4?) to the X1, the X1 provides a very different and useful experience.
